“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?”—Romans 10:14

Corporate Care steps into many divine appointments in the workplace, where we offer direct care to employees and indirect care for employees’ loved ones. A powerful means for us to accomplish this is to place Bible-centered tools in their hands. We gladly give away dozens of Action Bibles and Jesus Storybook Bibles as gospel-proclaiming tools for employees and their households. Many of these books empower hurting households to hear about God and His amazing love.

One such employee sent this message to me after receiving the Action Bible for his children after his painful divorce: “Hi, James, I just wanted to reach out to you and say Thank You for being there for me. Words cannot describe how much I appreciate all you do. Also, the Action Bible you gave me is the best book ever. The boys are so excited and want to keep reading it. Believe it or not, I really enjoy it, too. Thanks again for all your prayers, it’s great to have such a good friend like you.”

Another employee who is caring for her incarcerated sister’s children and is having a very difficult time with them received an Action Bible. A week later, she shared that one of the kids has been very protective of the Bible and asking a lot of questions about God. This girl was changed in such a way that she allowed church members to pray over her, with tears, the following Sunday.

A third employee updated me that his son, who received an Action Bible a year ago when his parents were divorcing, still reads it often. His dad (the employee) is so thankful that his son continues to find comfort in God’s Word amid a personal and family crisis.

This is God’s power at work through His Word! We thank Him for the opportunities to share Good News with employees and their families, hoping they will believe in Him. Please pray for these homes and others who have received these resources, that they would also seek God through His Word.
